Our firm started out in 2015 as a niche Employment Law practice and it remains our largest practice area. Our clients include employees, directors, sole traders, SME’s and multi-national companies. Our success in this area comes from our knowledge of the law and the fact that we fight hard on behalf of our clients. We have successfully taken and defended cases in the Employment Tribunals, County Court and High Court. We advise employers in Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, England and Wales.

As part of our non-contentious services we assist clients with day to day human resources advice such as managing sickness absence, disciplinary and dismissal, grievance, redundancy and matters around dignity at work such as bullying, harassment and victimisation. draft contracts of employment, director service agreements, post-termination restrictive covenants and staff handbooks. We are also adept at advising on corporate transactions and in particular employee due diligence and the TUPE regulations applicable on the transfer of a business or a service provision change.

When matters become contentious and proceedings are necessary, we are experienced in managing all forms of employment disputes including unfair dismissal, all forms of discrimination, unlawful deductions from wages, breach of contract and restraint of trade claims. We also regularly draft and negotiate Settlement/Compromise/Termination Agreements on behalf of employers and employees. We have also acted in class actions in relation to equal pay claims against local authorities.
