Jacqui was educated at Rainey Endowed Grammar School, Magherafelt before attending the University of Ulster at Magee where she obtained a 2:1 (hons) LLB in Law with Business. Jacqui then attended the Institute of Professional Legal Studies at Queens University Belfast and was awarded a Certificate in Professional Legal Studies with credit. Jacqui was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors of the Supreme Court of Judicature for Northern Ireland in 2008.
Jacqui served her apprenticeship with a firm of solicitors in Cookstown and remained with that practice for a further 6 years before joining a practice in Magherafelt in 2014. Jacqui joined McCay Solicitors in February 2017.
Jacqui is responsible for the firm’s Property, Wills and Probate offering. Jacqui has extensive experience of buy and selling property and acting on behalf of agricultural clients in relation to property and probate matters. Jacqui also has an increasing portfolio of Commercial Property clients and has acted in the sale and purchases of commercial premises, sites for commercial development and on behalf of both commercial landlords and tenants. Jacqui is available to see clients at our Derry~Londonderry or Strabane offices.
